Is 60 psi of CO2 enough pressure for a Sodastream to function effectively?
I want to supply my Sodastream from a tank in another room, through the wall (with appropriate adapters, of course). The Sodastream is designed to run directly off tank pressure, but I don't want to run 25 ft of 2000 psi gas line through my wall; would rather supply it from my primary regulator, which goes up to 60 psi.
Anyone have experience with a setup like this?
(I've looked into better/more efficient/cooler ways to feed my family's addiction to carbonated water, but any way I do the math, the Sodastream keeps coming up the winner for space, budget, and ease of use for the kids. As long as I can supply it from a bulk tank, that is!)
