How warm in wine fridge ferm chamber?

Hi All!

I'm interested in trying to make a berliner weiss using the sour wort method. I usually ferment in a wine fridge with a temp controller, using the fridge for cooling and a heating pad for warming.

My question is, if I get the fridge chamber up to 120* for the souring process, is that too hot for the wine fridge? Am I going to damage any of the fridge components?

I like the idea of sour worting, but don't want to trash my ferm chamber in the process.

That's a high temperature, but I'm willing to bet those fridges see temperatures like that in shipping containers on their way here from China. I'd agree you should be fine.
