Often times, brewers look down on alkaline flavors in their beer. I personally believe there are many very appropriate beer styles that are well suited for having metallic flavors. I specifically like when these notes show up in Red Ales.
So far I've had no luck finding an article or post with a positive outlook on alkaline flavors. Does anyone have some tips as to how I can bring these tastes and aromas out in the open? Much appreciated.
