I'm planning to brew next week using the Summerfest Orange Ale recipe on here. Was curious on your thoughts on how much orange I should use and when I should use it. I'm planning to do a 5 gallon batch. I want orange flavor, but nothing too overwhelming. More orange undertones.
My thought was to add the zest from 2 navel oranges at flameout along with squeezing some of the juice from the oranges. Additionally, I was thinking about dry hopping with 0.5 oz of citra hopes and adding 1-2 ounces of sweet orange rind when I move it into secondary. Would this be too much? Thoughts?
