I have a Wild Berry wine made from concentrate that I would like to oak. I am unsure how much oak chips to put into a gallon carboy. Any help?

I always grabbed a pinch of oak chips and put in my red wine for one gallon. But wild berry? Are u sure u want an oak flavor to that?

The wine really didn't finish the way I imagined it would. I think a little oak might help.
It's more of an experiment now. I didn't want to use more chips than necessary.

Ah I see, well I'd use a pinch.. Unless you have a scale.. Then I'll look up how many oz's per gallon on weight wise, I think it's like 1/4 oz's for a gallon.. Idk but I just take a pinch with my fingers and it comes out good
