I just ordered a couple of those 20Gal BoilerMakers for a basic 3 tier HERMS system. I'm planning to use burners on the HLT and the kettle to make 10-15 gal batches. From experience, can anybody tell me about how many BTU will my burner need to be to bring this batch of these sizes up to temp? I would like to get to temperature relatively fast (<1hr, or less). Thanks ahead of time for your input.

90-120Kbtu sounds about right. Check out the 23 tip multijets.
I saw those multi-jet burners but thought those were only good using natural gas. I would like to use my 20lb propane tanks from my grill.
Can the multi-jet burners be used with propane?
If so, is the rate of gas consumption outrageous that I would have to have a couple of tanks ready to go...you know, on the rare event that I invite a coupe of friends over to brew and grill at the same time.
