I dry hopped a pale ale last night with 1.5 oz of Glacier.

I also had a keg open up last night! Do I need to wait a week to rack over to the keg or would 24 hours be enough time before racking out of secondary?

I guess I'm unsure if the hops dissolving is what I'm looking for to get the dry hop flavor or if they do need to sit in the beer for a week.

Thanks!

I like to dry hop for about a week. 24 hours really isn't enough time to get the full benefits in my opinion.

I also like to dry hop in my keg and see how the taste changes over time.

Put the hops into the keg (in a hop bag or nylon stocking). As long as the keg is kept at serving temps those hops can sit until the keg kicks. One day of dry hopping is usually not going to get it done.
