Hello friends.

For any who our experience with adding of chips, how long does it take to impart The flavor?

Also is there a better time to do it for example in primary, secondary or after the second or third racking in bulk aging?

The speed at which the flavors are extracted depend on the size of the chips. Granulated oak is just a matter of days and can be added during primary fermentation before pressing a few days later. Chips will need at least a couple weeks to a couple months for full extraction. That makes it better to use chips during the bulk aging stage.
