Hey all -

We just brewed our pumpkin ale, turned out awesome. We used a Wyeast smack pack, and pitched the yeast as normal. I was headed off to bed and I had to look at it one more time. Shockingly, there are little white spots on the top of our beer! What the heck is that? Is it just blobs of yeast and nutrient or did we set a new record for screwing the pooch here?

Thanks for help!

If the Kreusen has fallen it's probably just yeast rafts (Yeast buoyed up by co2 bubbles) This can happen at any time, can you look at it very closely to see if there are tiny bubbles?
