75 minute mash at 150. Double batch sparge.
Fermented at in the low 60's
Had horrible efficiency with this batch, but it turned out very well. I tweaked my house amber recipe to meet BJCP guidelines, and it paid off. Took 3rd place in the American Ale category at the Central Oregon Homebrewers Organization's Spring Fling.
After reading tasting notes, I'll be changing the mash to 154 for 60 mins to increase the body.
Favorite comment on the scoresheets was, "I wish Ninkasi's Believer tasted like this. Taste is huge but body and teaxture leave me wanting more."
