Hey all, I was at a garage sale today and got this steal of a deal: http://www.hvacquick.com/products/r...8ZlJuhTiiY-LZC-5Or0cH0rEG7s3bDPuRWRoC6VLw_wcB for only 3$. It works by recirculating cold water back to your water tank and running the hot water through your hot spout. Now the temp switch is set for about 85°F by default, but I was thinking that if I could modify that to be about 70°F, I could hook the hot spout up to my external counterflow chiller and the cold return back to the brew kettle to get to exactly yeast pitching temp. Does anyone know how I'd go about doing this? Also, I'm assuming this pump is food grade since it hooks up to your house water - shower, faucets, etc. - which we drink out of. Thanks! :mug:
