I'm going to spend a few batches bouncing back-and-forth between an American Amber and an American Pale Ale in order to refine my brewing process and skills. Both recipes are from Brewing Classic Styles by Zainasheff & Palmer. Both recipes use Horizon hops for the bittering addition and Cascade/Centennial for flavor/aroma. I thought I might save a little money by buying some larger hops portions and storing them in the fridge, but I can't find Horizon hops in anything greater than 1 oz portions right now. Is there another variety that's a good substitute for Horizon?
