I was given an entire bine of fresh Nugget from a friends backyard. I've noticed as I have been picking and drying them that they have very little hop aroma, and smell more grassy.

Is this something that should concern me? Should I waste my time with the last couple of pounds?

Maybe not for flavor ir aroma, but they may be good for bittering.

IME, Nugget doesn't really have too much of an aroma. If you crush one, it will smell like hops, but it doesn't compare to Chinook or Zeus, which are very noticable. I can smell my Zeus and Chinook form the top deck, several feet from the plants. Nugget just has a resinous aroma when crushed, but not much else. It's a great hop for just about every beer that doesn't need a lot of hop presence. You only need a little bit, and it goes a long way.

They also may have been picked tok early, but theyll still make beer. I vote keep it. Use it.
