Hop Stopper and False Bottom

They function differently. A false bottom will have much more surface area which will enable it to handle much more loading of debris. It all depends on how you plan to do things. I wouldn't recommend a FB with pellet hops, but a hop stopper may work.

Would I be able to use a ball valve with the hop stopper? It's hard for me to use a strainer and pour at the same time, and looking for something to make brewing a little bit easier
