Quick question about using hop shots. If each shot is good for approximately 10 IBUs per 5 gallons of wort could I simply use the hop shots in place of my FWH and 60 minute additions? My assumption here is the FWH and 60
Minute additions are only for bittering?

Yup. A lot of Commercial IPAs are made this way. It has the added benefit reducing the chance of vegetal flavors that come from boiling hops for so long and reduced hop trub!
 
Thanks for the feedback! I had assumed the cutback of trub but not the veggie flavors.

This is wrong... each MILLILITER adds approximately 10 IBUs. So if your syringe has 5 ml then the syringe or entire hopshot is 50 IBUs.
