Hello everyone,

Do different hops have different staying power?

I have a Mosaic IPA in the keg and the aroma and flavor was off the hook for the first 2 weeks, then most of it left, pretty quickly actually,

Are there techniques I can use to keep it around longer? Sure I can add dry hops to my keg, I am hoping for something more

Thanks in advance
Rick

Rick, it's most likely oxidation. Lately there have been a ton of discussions on this. Just do some searching and you'll probably find some techniques.

We're realizing how sensitive our precious hoppy beers are to oxidation more than ever. Anything you can do to minimize oxygen will help. Even when you think you aren't oxidizing your beer you probably are. Of late, I've been looking more closely at my process to tighten it up.
