I've searched the forum and have not come across any threads that talked about using the STC 1000's or Inkbird of the same model being used strictly for a temperature read out.
I've built my brew stand and brewed my first batch on the new system this last weekend. Even though everything went pretty smooth, I found that I was not happy with the dial thermometers that I have on this rig. My stand is a single tier, 2 burners (HLT,BK) and two Topsflo pumps. I currently have a control box that is only controlling the pumps. I have sufficient room on the panel.
Has anyone used the above-mentioned temperature controllers for just reading temps?
Does anyone know what type of sensors these things use as I would like to have a sensor that I can screw into the 1/2" FNPT ports I have on these vessels?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
