after experimenting a lot with "swamp cooling", I finally decided to go for it.
I am limited to Belgian Ales because of the temperatures here but that's fine. I am done buying beer and enjoy brewing.

I make lagers all year round. I'm in FL. You can do it if you want to.

Welcome to the forum. I'll be watching for you to post your progress.

I am in Miami.
What the temperatures are concerned I can get down to 70 F with a strong fan blowing at my "wet t-shirt carboy". Without fan around 73 F.
My next brew will be a german wheat beer. See how it turns out.

dont worry about it, I regularly ferment inside my house which averages the fermentation temperature in the upper 70s

Are you using ice bottles in the water bath? If not, try it.
