I was on another forum I frequent when someone posted about making apfelwein. I thought homebrewing sounded neat, and my research led me here.

I basically jumped right in, and have a 5 gallon carboy fermenting now!
I'm looking forward to learning about homebrewing!

On a side note, are there any canada friendly supply stores online?

Hey and welcome
I do most of my online ordering from Northern Brewer and Austin Homebrew, but I have it shipped to an address just across the border then I go pick up my stuff. They both ship to Canada but at actual shipping charges, plus potential taxes and fees, it can quickly not be worth it. There is homebrew-supplies.ca, however, I have never tried them and don't know much about them.
