Hi all! I’m new to brewing and to the board. All I know about brewing so far is what I learned yesterday boiling my first batch of Brewer’s Best Whiskey Barrel Stout (perhaps too ambitious for a first brew). I’ve already been helped by some on the board so I look forward to getting to know the community better. I’m here to learn so any advice or resources are welcomed. Thanks and Cheers!

Also, and I'm probably in the minority on here, but do not drink while brewing. I've screwed up some really basic things because I had a few too many. Or forgotten to take/record critical data points..or both

Good call. I actually didn’t open my first beer during this brew until just before cooling. I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks!
