see it doesn't have the same effect. but i still enjoy the process. and i really enjoy the beer

the beer was poured at cellar temps - i always seem to get better head out of those temps. if i were to bring the beer to around 35-40° it would not give that much head.

That shape glass really enhances the head.

I''ve noticed that the glass shape makes a really big difference. If I have beers that are a little lightly carbed, I pour them in a narrow glass something like that. On the other end of the spectrum, a wide goblet will minimize head in a highly carbonated beer.

Standard pint glasses are somewhere in the middle.
