Hi everyone -

first time posting...

i've been brewing 1 gallon batches at home lately and its been great fun with some good results so far.

this time, i attempted to make a hybrid recipe of my own after reading a few recipes...totally winging it :)

i've just been working all grain..

i started with

2 lbs weyerman pale ale
8 oz muntons dark crystal

.1 warrior @ 60
.1 simcoe @ 40
.1 amarillo @ 15

i have an english ale yeast and was planning on trying to dry hop after 7 days with a amarillo/simcoe combination.

any critiques? Am i crazy? did i miss anything?

Thanks!

It's a little hard to get my head around those small numbers :).

I'd move the simcoe and amarillo to 10 and 5 minutes, or 5 and 1. You'll get more flavor that way.

Looks good though - won't you be regretting not making 5 gallons of the stuff? Enjoy!

lol. ya....my brain has a tough time with decimal division :p pretty soon im going to build a 5 gallon setup. for now this works with my kitchen and i can chill the wort in my freezer, haha.

thanks for the reponse. i failed to notate that there was a 2nd amarillo addition at 5 mins...
