I have 25ft stainless immersion chiller and I am wanting to repurpose it as a HERMS coil. Going from direct fire rims to HERMS and am wondering if the 25ft is long enough or do I need a 50 foot coil. I have single tier keggle system doing 10 gallon batches. Let me know. Thanks

I use a 25 foot copper coil as a HERMS unit in my HLT. It works perfectly. Seems to hold temp nicely with no issues.
