Can someone please tell me how to figure this out?

My original gravity was 1.055 I then added 2 1/2 # of honey. My wort volume was 6 gallons

I need to know what my total OG was to figure my abv.

This fermented down to 1.010

Thanks

assuming the honey you used has a ppg= 50 = points per pound per galon, the total points you added to your 6 gals of wort is:
p=weight added*ppg/volume
p=2.5*50/6
p=20.8
so your new OG will be 1.055+0.0208
New OG=1.0758
Your AVB% is =129*(OG-FG)
ABV%=129*(1.0758-1.010)
ABV%=8.49

Thanks a bunch Nilo. I missed my OG terribly on this IPA (too much sparge water) and needed to give it a bump. I thought that 2.5 # of honey would get me close and it did then.

50ppg? isn't honey usually quoted around 35?

your OG should be around 1.067 (the honey would have added 0.2 gallons to the batch)
