Hey all,

Made an all grain and watered it down a bit to much and my OG is at 1.035. I want to make it a bit higher. It's been sitting for about 8 days now. can I take some beer from the primary heat it up, add the DME cool down and put back into the fermenter?

Thanks

First thought is no.

Risk of infection is concerning.
If you boil partially fermented beer it will boil off the alcohol (173 degrees).

Just let it ride, drink it and learn a lesson.

I would say leave it at 8 days but if you want a point of DME will raise you .009 points. Boil it, chill it, add it to the primary, rouse the yeast and let it ferment. IMO it's not worth the effort;)
