I'm making Northern Brewer's Saison de Noel. I have somehow misplaced the 1 lb of D-90 Belgian candi syrup. The estimated OG should be 1.070 and it already calls for 1lb of corn sugar. Should I just add another pound of corn sugar to keep it at 1.070, or will that drastically affect the flavor? I'm not worried about the color being off. Also, if it helps, I'm using wyeast 3711 french saison.

Use table sugar to make your own candi syrup,

Make 2 lbs, and replace the corn sugar too.

I wish I had time for that, but I've already started the mash. Man, what a rookie mistake to not double check my ingredients.

Still plenty of time. The sugar will take about an hour, you add it at the end of the boil anyway. Get busy!

It is a saison. Just sub with a pound of plain table sugar.

The sugar like the D90 will help dry it out.
