So I have quite a few batches under my belt and I'm tired of bottling. My girlfriend offered to buy me a kegerator for my birthday but she wants to order it online tonight so it arrives in time. I have no idea what matters in buying a kegerator. The only thing I'm pretty sure I want is 2 taps but is there anything else I should make sure of before ordering? Is there some brands to stay away from or is there certain parts or features I should make sure it has? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You'll have to do some research for which brand you want. But, sometimes is cheaper to buy a dual tap later. Shop, shop, shop for your best deal!
