My most local home brew shop is considering carrying DME. Right now they have a pitiful grain section that I am attempting to get them to replace with extract. I just got an email saying that they are considering an order and want my opinion what type would be most popular. So I enlist your help. The choices she gave me are Briess, Coopers and Muntons. So wha and t do you think and reasons. Thanks.

My LHBS uses Briess (because it's cheaper) and it works great. I've used Muntons (and prefer it) but I think everyone would benefit cost-wise more from the domestic Briess and it's a fine company.

It's not a HUGE difference between the two, anyway.

Screw Coopers...not terrible, but not my preference.

The only DME I can get locally in Muntons, so that's what I use.
With the way the pound is falling against the dollar, I wouldn't be surprised if Muntons is the cheapest.
