I have 50ft of 3/8th copper tubing and I can't decide on which design to build. Do I build a standard IC? A ribcage design? Or do I do a coil inside a coil!?
Have you ever successfully wound a coil before?
If not, I'd go with the KISS philosophy and do a single coil properly sized for your boil kettle and get that under your belt.
And don't forget the goose-necks for the in and out that drape over the edge of your kettle!
fwiw, I've seen some gawdawful "coils" on HBT over the years, clearly rookie efforts.
Don't be that guy...
