Help building an Ekuanot SMaSH

It's time to brew, and given the quarantine and LHBS closures I only have what I have. I've only ever built one recipe on my own before and I'd like to try again with a simple SMaSH. I'm planning to do a 5gal batch using 2-row as my malt and Ekuanot (Equinox) hops. I have 2oz of hop pellets which have an AA of 15%, and 2oz of Cryo hops that have an AA of 25.5%. I've never brewed with Cryo before so I'm planning to just use the regular pellets.

My question is, has anyone brewed a SMaSH with Ekuanot before? What would people suggest for additions/timing? Any general advice for recipe building would also be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I would use the cryo to dry hop, 15% AA if you hop a 5 gallon batch as follows
1/2 oz 60 min
1 oz 15 min
1/2 oz 1 min

your still around 65 IBU

How bitter do you want it?

If you go 30/10/1min with the same ratios it puts you at 49 IBU (probably what I would do)


I would use 1 oz of the cryo as a dry hop though that's what they are really for
