I like to think of myself as an aspiring soda crafter. I enjoy homemade soda, and have been making it on and off for the last several years.
Sometimes I include my girls in the brewing process, other times I like to use it as a way to relax. I've made several bad batches-some that didn't carb, others that turned sour, one that exploded my cork-caps off(which I never used again), and one or two that ended up a bit chemically(made from scratch).
I've used extracts and brewed from scratch, but I'm still kind of finding my footing. I found this site on an unfruitful journey to find a cream soda recipe, and ended up finding a few posts I enjoyed reading and a community I could share my thoughts and experiences with. I also write a blog that is kind of all things soda related. It's still in it's infancy, but I have a lot more content planned to fill it out a bit.
Now that the community relevant stuff has been stated-I'm a family man. 27 years old, happily married to my beautiful and crafty wife for nearly 5 years, have 3 beautiful daughters(5.5, still 2(but actually 3), and 8.5 months). I deal cards at a casino in the Pacific Northwest(but I grew up completely ignorant of "real" gambling in Toledo, Oh), and dream of one day taking my family on many road trips exploring North America.
