brewed my first batch in April and had mixed results.
A buddy of mine was helping me and we probably drank a bit too much during the process. ABV only ended up being 2.7% but the beer (irish red kit) tasted pretty good. Oh well, I'm a visual learner and I needed that experience to really kick start me on this hobby.
Got another Kit at my LHBS. boulevard wheat clone and everything is going great so far. Just put it into bottles 2 nights ago and the hydrometer sample tasted great. now we wait. which sucks.
I really enjoy the hobby just need to get more brews under my belt.
