I'm a new brewer that has been reading the forums the past couple of weeks and getting lots of good information so I decided to join up. I have yet to finish a beer but do have two on the way, an IPA that has been in bottle for a week and a half and an Irish Stout that has been in the fermenter for a week and a half. The IPA brewing had multiple mistakes and now tastes like a banana bread beer rather then an IPA, it has been named "the Mistake by the Lake IPA?" The Irish Stout brewing went much smoother and I have high hopes that it will taste like it should

Hello, new here too from the Bluegrass (Lexington)..Go Big Blue!!!

I, as well, have my first 2 batches in the fermenter and am bottling the american cream ale extract kit this weekend.

Agree, TONS of good stuff on this forum. It's pretty easy to make beer, now I just need to see if it tastes any good! LOL!
