Hello all!

I am Steve Licht of Detroit, MI. I joined this forum to gain some insight into the brewing process from experienced brewers.

So far I have brewed and bottled a Centennial Pale Ale, which I haven't tasted yet. I have also brewed a Kolsch beer which is in the primary fermenter. I have many plans for extract and all grain in the future.

I have a ton of equipment that I acquired through my Dad, which I have been using. So far loving the process and hoping to get better!!

Thanks,

Steve Licht

Welcome aboard, Steve!

I just moved back Up North (Traverse City area) few weeks back, but had previously lived in Berkley for a year and a half.

Be sure to check out Adventures in Homebrewing, if you already haven't. They've got locations in Taylor and Ann Arbor, plus a pretty awesome website! They're my go-to, for homebrew supplies.

Cheers!

Welcome Steve

Steve, nice to meet you!

I hope to meet up with some local brewers for feedback once I get a few batches under my belt!

Curtiss,

Thanks for the reply! I was in Traverse this past weekend and heading up next! I went to Right Brain, Mackinaw, and Seven Monks Tap. I usually pick up my supplies at Cap N' Cork in Shelby. I will check out Adventures in Homebrewing for sure!

Be sure to check out Ferment & The Filling Station the next time you're in TC.

Ferment pushes the envelope and isn't your typical brewery, while the Filling Station has a lot of great great "standard" beers and awesome pizza!
