My first experience with homebrewing was earlier this summer with a Mr. Beer kit that my daughter got me for Christmas about three years ago...and yes, that was a failure.....the yeast was bad.
My 2nd experience was a big success. I tossed out the Mr. Beer kit and bought a "basic brewing equipment kit" from RebelBrewer and started on the Diabolo Belgian blonde ale kit.
It was an amazing experience and it was a dern fine tasty beer. A lot of fun. Now I'm hooked and can't wait to work on more recipes.
