Just joined here after finding this forum in a roundabout way. I'm finishing up my first ever hombrew next Friday; a 5 gallon batch of an imperial blonde ale; and I'm starting my second 5 gallon batch tomorrow! I'm making a generic weizenbier and adding a raspberry puree to the wort before tossing it into the primary fermenter. Any tips on how to make a better beer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I don't know that I can actually help. It seems like there are different opinions about brewing hefeweizen, but I seem to find that it's mostly about the yeast - I haven't tried special techniques. And I've never used purees.
Welcome.
