So I did a half with 6 pounds of wheat extract and some other grains. It was a partial mash. I hear that the wheat beer can clarify it kept long enough but I'm just wondering how long does that take?

It's supposed to be cloudy. You can add gelatin to clarify it, but otherwise I wouldn't hold your breath.

Only because a brewery owner I know said if you leave it long enough it will clear up. I don't really care though, hef's I expect to be cloudy anyway.

I brewed 10 gallons of a hefe in early March, what's left is now crystal clear. In fact it's a fantastic Kristallweizen. It's like getting two beers in one!

Nice! This bad boy is sitting in the carboy for another month or so (with one more transfer maybe to get the yeast out)
Thanks, Kristallweizen sounds awesome!
