Head space and Flavor?

I brewed a batch and put it in the only fermenter I had around and it has a lot of head space in it, like a lot, and I was wondering if that has any effect on flavor- if it even comes out tasting good. I Let it sit unopened for the 3 weeks of fermentation.
 
As long as you aren't bulk aging it will be fine. I ferment 5 gallon batches in 8 gallon fermenters all the time.
