Have you ever been to the GABF?

I am thinking about going to the GABF this year with my wife. There are still tickets available on ticket re-sell sites everywhere But what i was wondering and wanted to ask those of you who have attended in the past, are there ever people there who happened to have extra tickets and try to sell them off near the convention. I know this is the case for many events and even other beer festivals on the smaller scale. Does anyone have personal experience with finding tickets are the venue the day of?

My boss has been to the GABF a few times. He said he saw a guy selling tickets the first time, but not the time after that. He also said the guy was selling it for 2x what it was worth.
