I just racked my second lager, a Bavarian Helles extract kit with Wyeast 2308. I want to harvest the yeast and everything seemed very lively when I decanted the carboy into my flask.

Since there was no grain, all that's left is the powdery hop residue. Problem is it's so light colored, i can;t tell what is yeast and what is trub. Will the yeast be on the bottom or the top after the initial rinse?

Thanks, bruvvas!~

Yeast will be on the top of the rinsed trub. Some of your statements are confusing me however so I have no other comments.
