I'm in the process of upgrading my brewing setup. I've been batch sparging for 15+ years, doing it the old skool way, dumping pots of hot water in to the cooler, draining in to the boiler on the floor and then lifting it up on to the burner stand, etc. I'm brewing mostly 10 gallon batches these days and all the lifting is a PITA. I've had a pump for years but it's a hassle to use the way my crap is all spread around so I'm putting together a hybrid HERMS system, electric HLT and natural gas burner, figure I'll have some questions as I go so I joined up rather being a creepy lurker.
