I found the forum on Google and have been reading threads the past week or so. This looks like a warm, helpful community.
I'm gathering equipment to brew my first batch, probably a nut brown. I'm trying to stay cheap on the first one or two, because I don't want to sink a lot of cash in it if it's not my thing, you know. So I'm doing a kit, using the basic set-up until I can figure out the process and work on my technique a bit.
Anyway, glad to have found you. This is going to be a great place from which to learn.
