Gravity Tir System Question

Ok, I am thinking about a tier system setup. Typically I see the lower tier the brewing kettle, how are you getting your wort to your primary? Or is it technically a 4 tier system, the 4th being your primary?

it goes from the boil kettle to the fermentor with a hose using gravity or a pump if it's going through a plate chiller.

I just made a 3 tier system an I made it so the last keggle is above the fermenter. It is a little difficult to fill the top keggle.
