I just received 55lbs of Maris Otter. Like a dumb arse, I left the "yes" checked for the milled option:( so I now have 55lbs of milled Maris Otter. How long will this keep good? I have it in 2 five gallons food grade buckets with sealed lid. Or should I go and brew with Maris Otter like a mad man? Thx in advance

I've kept some crushed grains around for a long time, they were sealed up pretty good though. I think it e'll be fine. But ya, heck why not brew anything like a mad man! I'm thinking with MO, Irish Red, some IPAs, maybe a stout?

It will keep for a few months still. Biggest concern would it being overly dry. MO is very versatile so you shouldn't have a problem disposing of it. It's good for any English style. It could be used nicely in some Autumn inspired beers paired with munich or caramunich and dark crystal. It's nice in IPA's especially when used with earthy/piny hops.

You can send me half of it if you want. I love MO.
