In moving to our new house, the box containing my equipment, well, it did not make it. We have been here a while and the wife had to listen to me complain about having no gear all the time. This x-mas, her and her friends got me a Mr. Beer. How thoughtful, but it's no replacement. However, I was greeted by this on Saturday night as a birthday gift.

Stainless steel 5 gal pot, SS immersion chiller, Ale Pail, bottling bucket, 5 gal. Carboy and all the fixin's. She got the kit from Midwest and a lot of the extras from the LHBS. Back in business, it feels good. Just got done with the Irish Stout kit from Midwest. Tweaked the hops a bit, I enjoy a nice bitter stout. Life is good.:mug:

Thank you, thank you. The x-mas lights add flair when brewing, it's always more fun with mood lighting.:)

You are obviously loved, just dont get crushed on the first batch using this new equipment or the woman will never let you live it down..... Happy Birthday!:D
