I got tired of touching up my stand with high-temp paint every few months, only to see it rust the next time I drag a keggle across the surface.
Solution was simply to buy some aluminum angle and attach to the stand.

I'm in Nascar country, all kinds of little shops around. I was thinking maybe ceramic coating the top section, then just rattle can the rest where temp isn't an issue.

Neat!
Be advised, to make it durable, you have to bake it on at about 850 degrees, which might take the rest of your paint with it, if it's not high temp paint.

And it goes on to bare, sandblasted metal.

And if their oven is big enough to bake your stand.

And casters, ( if installed), won't like the oven either................:mug:
