I am working on a Belgian Wit recipe, and I know traditionally a small amount of flaked oats are used. Well I was wondering has anyone used Simpsons Golden Naked Oats in one. I feel as though the effect would be the same because it is there to add to the smoothness in the mouth feel. Thoughts?

Go for it. I wouldnt use too much over 5% for a wit but I love that stuff. Great nutty flavor with some berry flavors. Like eating granola

I wouldn't use them as a sub for flaked oats, which don't contribute much flavor IME. GNO give a quite distinct nutty flavor, similar to victory but more peanut-like is my best description. I like them a lot, but seems to me it would be out of place in a Belgian wit. I'd just go with flaked wheat personally.
