Alright homebrew experts out there, I'm looking to do my first completely on my own batch (I've had multiple kits that I have modified to give my own spin on them, but never completely from scratch). Looking to do a gingerbread porter, here is the recipe I've created, if you guys could take a look and give some feedback that would be great. 6 lbs dark DME 10 oz biscuit malt 10 oz crystal 120 4 oz molasses 6 oz brown sugar 1 oz Golding's boil for 60 min 1 oz liberty boil last 15 min 4 oz maltodextrin in boil 4 oz lactose in boil 1 cinnamon stick in boil, carried to primary 2 g ginger 1 g nutmeg 1 g clove All into primary What does everyone think? Thanks!
