I just picked up some NorCal Ale #1 from my LHBS and was just curious to know if anyone has brewed with it before, and can compare it to WLP001 and 1056?
From the description, I assume it is also a culture of the Chico strain like WLP001 and 1056, but if you have used it, have you noticed any discrepancies from a flavor profile, flocculation, or ester perspective?
