I've got a batch that I'm ready to cold crash and subsequently keg. And in further search of clear beer, I'd also like to use gelatin. My question is on sequencing. I'd rather not transfer to a secondary. Typically, I cold crash in the primary and then keg it. I'm wondering if I should add the gelatin directly to the primary before cold crashing, or add the gelatin at the time that I transfer to the keg.

All suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

Cheers :mug:

Keg is the way to go unless you can keep your primary under pressure. Otherwise you'll end up oxidizing your beer.i always chill down to 32 in the keg then hit it with gelatin.

I like to transfer to the keg and drop the temp in the kegerator down to 50. Then I add the gelatin (don't shake or stir). Then I cold crash at around 34 Deg for 36 hours.
